Hi @Deeger,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be glad to help you!
It's possible that after your HP computer upgraded to Windows 11, the HP Officejet 8015e printer stopped working due to compatibility issues, missing drivers, or incorrect settings. Here are some steps to troubleshoot and resolve this issue:
Check Printer Connection:
- Ensure that the printer is properly connected to the computer via USB, Wi-Fi, or Ethernet, depending on your setup.
- If connected via USB, try using a different USB port on your computer.
- For wireless connections, make sure the printer and computer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
Update Printer Drivers:
- Visit the HP Support website and download the latest drivers for your HP Officejet 8015e that are compatible with Windows 11.
- Install the updated drivers and restart your computer to see if this resolves the issue.
Run the HP Print and Scan Doctor:
- Download and run HP Print and Scan Doctor, a free tool from HP that can diagnose and fix common printing and scanning issues.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to troubleshoot the printer connection and driver issues.
Set the Printer as Default:
- Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners on your Windows 11 computer.
- Select your HP Officejet 8015e from the list and click Set as default.
- If the printer is not listed, click Add a printer or scanner to re-add it.
Please find the remaining steps in the next post.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance
