Hi @neekoyoung,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand your HP ENVY 6100e printer is not connecting to Wi-Fi on your PC. Let’s go through a few steps to check what could be causing this.

Confirm the printer is in Wi-Fi setup mode
The blue wireless light should be blinking.
If it is solid or off, the printer is not ready to connect.

Restore Wi-Fi setup mode on the printer
With the printer powered on, press and hold the Cancel (X) and Wireless (📶) buttons together for 5 seconds.
Release when the blue light starts blinking.

Restart your PC, printer, and router
Power off the printer and unplug it for 60 seconds.
Restart the PC and router, then power the printer back on.

Make sure the PC is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network
The PC must be connected to the same 2.4 GHz or compatible Wi-Fi network used for the printer.
Avoid guest networks, VPNs, or mobile hotspots during setup.

Use HP Smart to complete the setup
Open the HP Smart app on the PC and choose Add Printer or Set up a new printer.
Follow the prompts to send Wi-Fi details to the printer.

Temporarily disable firewall or antivirus software
Some security software can block printer discovery during setup.
Disable it briefly, complete the setup, then turn it back on.

Check signal strength and distance
Place the printer within range of the Wi-Fi router during setup.
Weak signals can cause the connection process to fail.

I hope this helps.
