Hello,

Troubleshooting HP DeskJet 4252e Printing Issues

If your HP DeskJet 4252e All-in-One Printer is connected to the network but not printing, here are some steps you can follow to resolve the issue:

  1. Verify Printer is Online:

    • Ensure that the printer is set as the default printer on your PC.
    • Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners, select your printer, and make sure it's not set to "Use Printer Offline."
  2. Check Print Queue:

    • Open the print queue by clicking on the printer in Printers & Scanners and selecting "Open queue."
    • Ensure there are no stuck or paused print jobs. If there are, cancel them and try printing a new document.
  3. Restart the Printer and Computer:

    • Turn off the printer, wait a few seconds, and then turn it back on.
    • Restart your computer to clear any temporary connection issues.
  4. Update Printer Driver:

    • Ensure that you have the latest printer driver installed. You can do this via the HP website or by using the HP Smart app.
    • Go to Device Manager, find your printer, right-click it and select "Update driver."
  5. Reinstall the Printer:

    • Remove the printer from Printers & Scanners and uninstall any associated software.
    • Reinstall the printer by adding it again through Printers & Scanners.
  6. Run HP Print and Scan Doctor:

    • Although the Diagnose and Fix tool found no issues, it may help to run the HP Print and Scan Doctor again to see if any network configuration issues can be detected.
  7. Router and Network Issues:

    • Ensure your router firmware is up to date.
    • Check if there are any IP conflicts in your network settings that might affect the new printer.
    • If possible, try connecting the printer to the network via a wired connection to test if the issue lies with the wireless connection.

If you continue to experience issues, consider contacting HP Support for further assistance.
