Hi all,
I've spent today setting up my brand new Windows 11 laptop (Acer Aspire Vero) and my new HP printer (HP Deskjet 2722e)
I initially tried to set the printer up for wireless printing, and when it didn't seem to work, I connected a USB cable.
I eventually managed to get it working, or so I thought.
When I printed a wireless test page/report, it said that there were two routers with the same SSID, and there was a possibility of my printer choosing the wrong device.
This is not the case, and I do not want to rename my router and reconnect seven different devices.
I have never experienced this issue with any other HP product, in many years of using them.
Could I address this by uninstalling and reinstalling the printer?
Also, it seems to take two attempts to print anything...I'm not sure whether the two things are related.
I would be very grateful for any help you might be able to provide.
Kind regards,
Casey

Hi CaseyBee,
The warning message that you are seeing at the top of the Wireless Network Test report page saying that more than one access point has been found matching your wireless network name is normal for people that have dual-band routers with the same name on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz or people that are using mesh routers. This message is safe to ignore and doesn't indicate that your printer is actively experiencing any Wi-Fi trouble.
Does this report page show that the printer has an IP Address? From your PC can you try entering this IP Address into a web browser. You should be able to reach the printer's Embedded Web Server like this:
(Your web browser will likely prompt you about the printer's security certificate first)
If this is working, we just need to troubleshoot the driver side on the PC. Is HP Smart installed? (you can get it from https://123.hp.com)

Hi Jim,
Thank you for your prompt response, and for the reassurance regarding dual band routers.
I've managed to get into my printer's Embedded Web Server.
HP Smart is installed.
I look forward to your reply.
Best wishes,
Casey
