My wireless printer is a HP 8015e, this morning it doesn't seem to be connected to the computer. When i try to print, it goes into a queue, but then a message comes up saying the printer is offline. I have disconnected, rechecked the wifi modem password, etc., turned my computer off, and anything else i can think off. Any suggestions.

Hi @marionlinda,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP 8015e wireless printer is showing as offline, there are several troubleshooting steps you can take to resolve the issue. Here are some suggestions.
Check Printer Connection:
- Make sure the printer is powered on.
- Verify that the printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer.
Restart the Printer:
- Turn off the printer, wait for about 10 seconds, and then turn it back on.
Restart the Computer:
- Sometimes, issues with the computer can affect the connection. Restart your computer and see if the issue persists.
Check Wi-Fi Connection:
- Ensure that your Wi-Fi network is functioning properly and that other devices can connect to it.
Printer Software:
- Make sure that the printer drivers and software on your computer are up-to-date. You can visit the HP website to download the latest drivers for your printer model.
Printer Settings:
- On your computer, go to the Control Panel or Settings and navigate to Devices and Printers. Right-click on your HP 8015e printer and make sure it is set as the default printer.
Printer Queue:
- Open the print queue on your computer and cancel any pending print jobs. Sometimes, a stuck print job can cause the printer to go offline.
Reconnect to Wi-Fi:
- On the printer's control panel, navigate to the wireless settings and reconnect the printer to your Wi-Fi network. Ensure that you enter the correct Wi-Fi password.
Firewall/Antivirus Software:
- Temporarily disable any firewall or antivirus software on your computer that might be blocking the printer connection. If the printer works after disabling the security software, consider adding the printer to the allowed devices list.
Check IP Address:
- Find the IP address of your printer (usually available in the printer settings). Ensure that the IP address matches the one configured on your computer for the printer.
Printer Firmware Update:
- Check if there is a firmware update available for your HP 8015e printer. You can usually find this information on the HP support website.
Router Settings:
- Check your router settings to make sure it is not blocking the printer's connection. Ensure that the router is broadcasting the Wi-Fi network.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
