Hi @rodri039,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand your HP Envy 6052e is not printing and the “i” light is blinking, showing a “printer setup incomplete” page when pressed. Let’s go through a few steps to check what could be causing this.

Restart the Printer
A full power reset can clear setup or connection errors.
Turn the printer on, unplug the power cord from the back, wait 60 seconds, reconnect it, and power it back on.

Check the Front Panel for Any Prompts
The blinking “i” light usually means the printer is waiting for an action.
Look for messages asking you to load paper, install cartridges, or confirm alignment.

Confirm the Cartridges Are Set Up Correctly
The printer will not complete setup unless both cartridges are installed and recognized.
Open the lid, remove both cartridges, reinsert them firmly, and close the lid.

Make Sure the First-Time Setup Was Completed in HP Smart
The 6052e requires initial activation through the HP Smart app.
Open HP Smart on your phone or PC, select “Set Up a New Printer,” and follow the prompts until it shows “Setup Complete.”

Reconnect the Printer to Wi-Fi
If the printer lost Wi-Fi during setup, it can get stuck in incomplete mode.
Press and hold the Wi-Fi button until it blinks, then use HP Smart to reconnect it to your network.

Check the Paper Tray and Paper Size Settings
Wrong paper size or an empty tray can trigger setup-incomplete errors.
Load plain white paper, adjust the guides snugly, and try printing again.

Run a Test Print from the Control Panel
Press and hold the “i” button + Wi-Fi button together to print a status page.
If the printer prints this page correctly, the issue is with setup, not hardware.

Reinstall the Printer in HP Smart
Removing and re-adding the printer can clear setup flags.
In HP Smart, delete the printer, restart the app, then add the printer again.

I hope this helps.
