Hi @NCBOY,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus is displaying messages indicating that the wireless radio is not functioning or that the service is disabled, there are several troubleshooting steps you can take before contacting HP support.

  • Restart the Printer: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve temporary issues. Turn off the printer, wait for a few seconds, and then turn it back on.
  • Check Wireless Connection: Ensure that your printer is properly connected to your wireless network. You may need to re-establish the connection by going through the printer's wireless setup process.
  • Update Firmware: Make sure that your printer has the latest firmware installed. You can usually update the firmware through the printer's settings menu or by visiting the HP support website.
  • Check Wireless Settings: Verify that the wireless settings on your printer match those of your wireless network. Double-check the SSID (network name) and password.
  • Reset Network Settings: If you suspect that there's an issue with the printer's network settings, you can reset the network settings to their defaults and set them up again from scratch.
  • Check for Interference: Wireless signals can be affected by interference from other electronic devices, walls, or other obstacles. Make sure your printer is placed in an area with a strong wireless signal and minimal interference.
  • Reinstall Printer Drivers: Sometimes, issues with the printer drivers can cause connectivity problems. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the printer drivers on your computer.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
