Hi @Desery,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP printer is printing an extra blank page after every document, here are several troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue.

Check Printer Settings:

  • Windows:
    • Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
    • Right-click on your printer and select Printing Preferences.
    • Look for any settings like "Separator Page" or "Blank Page After Document" and disable them if enabled.
  • Mac:
    • Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners.
    • Select your printer and click Options & Supplies, then go through the settings to check for similar options.

Update or Reinstall Printer Drivers:

Sometimes outdated drivers cause miscommunication between the computer and the printer.

  • Visit the official HP website, download the latest drivers for your printer model, and install them.

Check Document for Hidden Page Breaks:

  • Sometimes, the document may have hidden page breaks or extra spaces that cause the printer to interpret them as additional pages.
  • Open the document, go to the Print Preview option, and ensure there are no unnecessary extra pages before printing.

Disable Advanced Printing Features:

  • In the Printing Preferences on your printer settings, disable any advanced printing features such as Print in Reverse Order, Collate, or other options that may interfere with normal printing.

Check Paper Size and Layout:

  • Ensure the paper size selected in the document matches the paper in the printer. Mismatches may result in the printer adding blank pages.
  • Confirm the orientation and margins in the print setup.

Reset the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer and disconnect it from the power source for a minute.
  • Plug it back in and try printing again after the reset.

Firmware Update:

  • Check if there’s a firmware update available for your printer on HP's support website. Updating the firmware can fix bugs that may cause such issues.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
