Hi @fjmmtz,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If the touch screen on your HP printer is not working, you can try the following troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue.

Restart the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer, disconnect the power cable, and wait for about 30 seconds.
  • Reconnect the power cable and turn on the printer.

Calibrate the Touch Screen (if applicable):

  • Some printers have a touchscreen calibration option in their settings. Check the user manual for your specific printer model to see if this feature is available.

Update Firmware/Software:

  • Make sure that your printer has the latest firmware or software updates installed. Check the HP website for your printer model and download any available updates.

Clean the Touch Screen:

  • Ensure that the touch screen is clean from dirt, fingerprints, or any other debris. Gently clean the screen with a soft, lint-free cloth.

Check for Physical Damage:

  • Inspect the touch screen for any physical damage. If you notice cracks or damage, it may require professional repair.

Reset to Factory Defaults:

  • Consult your printer's manual to find out how to reset it to factory defaults. This might help if the issue is related to software settings.

Remember to refer to your printer's user manual for model-specific instructions.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
