Hi @Paulneedshelp1,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand your HP DeskJet 2600 shows offline after changing Wi-Fi credentials, and the computer can’t connect to it even though it’s on and the wireless light is flashing. Let’s go through steps to reconnect your printer.

a. Confirm Wi-Fi Status on Printer
 - The blinking wireless light means the printer is not connected to the new Wi-Fi network.
 - Make sure the printer is powered on and near the Wi-Fi router.

b. Reconnect Printer to Wi-Fi
 - On the printer, press Wireless → Wireless Setup Wizard (or go through the Settings menu).
 - Select your new Wi-Fi network and enter the correct password.
 - Wait for the wireless light to turn solid blue, indicating a successful connection.

c. Forget Old Network on Computer
 - On your computer, go to Wi-Fi settings → Manage known networks.
 - Remove any old connections related to the previous Wi-Fi.
 - Reconnect to the new Wi-Fi network and ensure your computer is on the same network as the printer.

d. Check Printer Status on Computer
 - Open HP Smart app or Printers & Scanners in Windows/Mac.
 - Remove the old printer instance and add a new printer.
 - The app should detect the printer on the new network.

e. Restart Devices
 - Power cycle the printer, Wi-Fi router, and computer.
 - Wait 1–2 minutes for them to reconnect.

f. Use USB Temporarily (Optional)
 - If Wi-Fi setup fails, connect the printer via USB to reconfigure Wi-Fi using the HP Smart app.

I hope this helps.
