HP DeskJet 2752 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP Smart says the printer has no internet connection.  However, the wireless network test results shows that there is connection with my WIFI network. HP website can connect to my printer so there must be internet connectivity,.  Also, the printer shows E8.  I can print.   The way it seems to work is that the on/off light starts blinking.  When it stops blinking (it might take 5 or more minutes) I have to press the resume button for it to start printing.  In the past it would print instantaneously.  I have been on vacation and had turned my printer off.  I wonder whether that has something to do with it.

Hi @BraafPaard,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I understand that you are I’d like to help!

To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:

Do you get an error message when trying to connect to the Wi-Fi?
Are you connecting the printer to a 2.4Ghz network or 5Ghz network?

Have you done any changes to your router network or software?

Meanwhile, Let us follow these steps to connect the printer to the wireless network:

Use the Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) button on your router to connect the printer to your wireless network.

Place the printer near the Wi-Fi router.

Make sure paper is loaded in the main tray, and then turn on the printer.

On the printer control panel, press and hold the Wireless button for at least 5 seconds or until the light starts blinking. For Tango printers, press and hold the Wireless and Power buttons on the rear of the printer until the blue bar flashes.

Within two minutes, press and hold the WPS button on the router until the connection process begins.

Wait for the light on the printer to stop blinking.

  • Make sure the printer and the device you are using to print are connected to the same wireless network. Either 2.4 or 5GHz network.
  • If you have a Dual-band router and both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks share the same name/SSID, the printer will not be able to connect to the network. In this case, contact your Internet service provider to assign different names to both networks.

Thanks for your suggestions.

I have tried to make it work for days.  It had WiFi connection, bluetooth.  I even tried USB connection.  I rebooted this, I rebooted that. All I ever got was the message: "Connect to the internet".  There was nothing wrong with my WiFi.    I have purchased a new printer.
