Hi @ROBRIVERA

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

It sounds like your HP Officejet Pro 8620 is experiencing connectivity issues despite being connected to the internet.

Let’s troubleshoot step by step:

Restart Devices:

  • Turn off your printer, computer, and router.
  • Wait for about 2 minutes, then turn them back on in the following order: router, printer, computer.

Check Printer Status:

  • Ensure the printer is set as the default printer on your computer.
  • Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers, right-click your printer, and select Set as Default Printer.

Run HP Print and Scan Doctor:

Update Printer Firmware:

  • Visit the HP Support page for your printer model and check for firmware updates.
  • Install the latest firmware to ensure compatibility with your network.

Reinstall Printer Drivers:

  • Uninstall the printer drivers from your computer.
  • Download and install the latest drivers from the HP Support page.

Check Network Settings:

  • Ensure your printer is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network.
  • Run the Wireless Setup Wizard from the printer’s control panel to reconnect it.

Reset Printer Settings:

  • Restore the printer’s network settings to factory defaults.
  • Reconfigure the printer using the HP Smart app or the Wireless Setup Wizard.
