Need MAC address of 2855e without setting up wifi

My college uses Apogee to secure their network. I require the MAC address of my printer to set it up and when ever I try holding the information and wifi button on my printer to print the wifi information page it prints a wps code. I do not have access to the router at my dorm either. So is their another way to get the MAC address.

True, too - Depending on the network, if the printer were to be connected to the network, you might end up sharing your printer with others, some of whom you might not know.

If the MAC information is not on the printer itself and you cannot get the information using the buttons,

Consider connecting your printer to your device (computer, tablet, phone) using Wi-Fi Direct.

Wi-Fi Direct uses the printer's wireless radio to connect directly to the device (computer, tablet, phone).

You can use Wi-Fi Direct as a method to connect and use you printer or you can at least use it to gain access to the printer's MAC address information.
