My printer disconnected from my network. I am unable to restore network settings due to "feature is locked by the person who set up the printer"

@jmaxwell2, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Network Settings for HP OfficeJet Pro 9015!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
If you are seeing a message indicating that the feature is locked by the person who set up the printer, you may need assistance from an administrator or person who has access rights to unlock or reset the network settings. Here is a general guide on how to restore the wireless network settings on HP printers. Ensure you have authorization and access required to perform these steps:
Restore the Wireless Network Settings via the Control Panel
- Press the Menu Button on the control panel.
- Navigate to Network Settings:
- Select Network > Wi-Fi > Wi-Fi Default.
- Then select Restore....
This action should commence restoring the default wireless network settings.
Restore the Wireless Network Settings via HP Embedded Web Server
If you have network access and privileges, you can also restore the settings using the HP Embedded Web Server:
- Access the HP Embedded Web Server:
- Open a web browser and enter the IP address of your printer (e.g., http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx).
- Login as Administrator:
- Click Login at the top right corner.
- Enter credentials if prompted. The default username might be admin and there may be no default password unless previously set.
- Navigate to Wireless Network Settings:
- Go to Network Settings > Wi-FiWizard.
- Follow instructions to restore or set new network settings.
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
