I know how frustrating it is when your HP DeskJet 4155e shows offline, especially when you need to print urgently. Let’s get it back online quickly:

1. Check Printer Status

• Make sure the printer is powered on and the Wi-Fi light is solid blue (not blinking).
• If blinking, reconnect to Wi-Fi using the Wireless button on the printer.

2. Restart Devices

• Turn off the printer, wait 30 seconds, then turn it back on.
• Restart your computer and router to refresh the connection.

3. Set Printer Online in Windows 11

1. Go to Settings → Bluetooth & Devices → Printers & Scanners.
2. Select your HP DeskJet 4155e → Open Queue.
3. If you see Use Printer Offline checked, uncheck it.

4. Use HP Smart App

• Open HP Smart on your PC or phone.
• If the printer shows offline, click Reconnect or Add Printer.
• Make sure you’re signed into your HP account (required for HP+ printers).

5. Reset Network Settings (If Still Offline)

• On the printer, press and hold the Wireless and Cancel buttons together for 5 seconds.
• This resets Wi-Fi settings.
• Re-add the printer in HP Smart and reconnect to your Wi-Fi.

6. Update Firmware

• In HP Smart, go to Printer Settings → Advanced → Firmware Update.
• Outdated firmware can cause offline issues.
