New HP printer will not connect to internet

I bought this printer, unboxed it, plugged it in, downloaded the HP smart application on my IphoneX. It printed the wireless start guide  & I followed all the steps on the app. Clicked on my wifi, entered the password, but each time it says I am unable to connect to the internet at this time.  Unfortunately my chromebook doesnt install your software & I am not able to get the USB cable, these other options will not work for me. Setting up this printer is not simple like advertised, it will not connect to internet. Please help me find a solution to connect to wifi via IOS.

Are you connecting the printer to a 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz Network? Is a Router a Dual band Router?

Please check with your Internet service provider if your router is able to forward 'Bonjour packets'. This is very important

Bonjour locates devices such as printers, other computers, and the services that those devices offer on a local network using multicast Domain Name System (mDNS) service records. The software comes built-in with Apple's macOS and iOS operating systems.

If you have smartphone... and wifi w/known SSID name & passphrase
On Printer, print out Info, this should include IP (URL/Web address as (4) dotted numbers), and PIN

On the smartphone...
open browser (I use Dolphin, but Chrome or any Chromium browser should work)
URL/Web address, 192.168.224.1 (not sure if this will be the same, but Print out Info and use that instead)

Enter PIN as password (not sure what the prompt word (PIN/Password) will be for your printer?
Choose the Network and follow the prompts to access your SSID w/passphrase
Back in HP Smart App on Smartphone, you should now be able to connect PIN login; scan, print from your Phone
*PIN is also on printer look at the rear/under side of printer for barcode & PIN #
