Hello. I have an Envy 6000 printer and we have have today changed our internet service provider.

Obviously the printer is still looking for the old wifi and I have been unable to update it. I have tried via the app, on desktop and with the virtual assisstant (looping around 3 times) without success. Are there any step by step instructions to make these changes?

Thanks.

Hello,

Use the Wireless button on the back of your printer to restore Wi-Fi setup mode.

  1. On the back of the printer, press and hold the Wireless button () for five seconds.

Note: Your control panel might look different than the following example, but the steps are the same.

  2. Wait for the Status light to turn purple.

  3. Within two hours, return to the app or software to find and add your printer and complete the setup.

Then reconfigure your printer in your new wireless network. It may be necessary to use a temporary USB connection to reconnect your printer to the wireless network. HP DeskJet, ENVY 6000, 6400 printers - Wireless printer setup.
