I have an HP ENVY6452e and I have recently switched WiFi companies. I have tried everything to reset the network and reconnect it but nothing is working.

Hi @Kels1234,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

When you switch WiFi companies or get a new router, it's often necessary to reconnect your HP printer to the new network. Here is a step-by-step guide to help you troubleshoot and resolve the connection issues for your HP ENVY6452e printer:

Step 1: Reset Network Settings

  1. Reset the Wireless Settings on the Printer:
    • On the printer's control panel, find the ‘Wireless’ button.
    • Press and hold the Wireless button until the light begins to flash.

Step 2: Reconnect the Printer to the WiFi Network

Using the HP App:

Without the HP App:

  • Press the WPS button on your router.

  • Within two minutes, press and hold the Wireless button on your printer until the light blinks.

Step 3: Verify Printer Connectivity

  1. Check Network Configuration:

    • Print a Wireless Network Test Report from your printer's control panel to verify the connection.
    • Ensure the report indicates the printer is connected to the correct network and the signal strength is strong.

Step 4: Further Troubleshooting

Place the Printer Closer to the Router: To improve the connection, ensure the printer is within range of your WiFi router.

Restart Devices:

  • Turn off your printer, router, and computer or mobile device.
  • Power them back on, starting with your router, then your printer, and then your device.

Router Settings: If connectivity issues persist, check your router settings. Ensure it is not set to only allow certain MAC addresses, and update your router’s firmware if needed.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
