I have recently got new internet but can’t connect my hp envy 6032a to the new internet. I have reset it and followed all steps but still I can’t connect. I don’t understand why it is made so difficult. I use this on a daily basis for work.

@RaRa52, Welcome to the HP Support Community – it’s great to have you here!

I appreciate you taking the time to share your question. I'm more than happy to assist with this and provide a solution that works for you.

I understand how frustrating it can be when your printer won’t connect to a new Wi-Fi network, especially when you rely on it daily for work. Let’s walk through the steps to get your HP ENVY 6032 reconnected.

Step-by-Step: Reconnect Your Printer to New Wi-Fi

Option 1: Use HP Smart App (Recommended)

Download HP Smart on your phone or PC:

Reset the printer’s network settings:

  • Press and hold Wireless button on the back of the printer for at least three seconds.

Open HP Smart and click “Set up a new printer”.

  • Make sure your phone or PC is connected to the same Wi-Fi network you want the printer to use.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the printer.

Option 2: Manual Wireless Setup via WPS (if supported by your router)

  1. Press and hold the Wireless button on the printer until the light starts blinking.
  2. Within 2 minutes, press the WPS button on your router.
  3. Wait for the printer to connect. The wireless light will stop blinking once connected.

Troubleshooting Tips

  • If your router has a new name or password, the printer must be reconfigured.
  • Avoid using VPNs or firewalls during setup, they can block communication.
