Common problems for Connectivity Issues
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about Printer Wi-Fi, Connectivity Issues and Offline Status. Check out this link: HP printer is offline or unavailable.

HP Envy 5544
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have had to install a new router.  Thisi s a wif-fi 6 router.  My printer connects to the network successfully.  BUT it can no longer scan to my WIndows 10 laptop (also succesfully connected to  the network), and the lap top thinks the printer is off-line all the time.   The router's management page shows both devices connected to the network.  This isn't the 'usual' Windows 10 thinks the printer is off-line problem.  I've tried everything I can think off, including deleting the printer and re-installing.  At that stage, the HP installation programme installs sucessfully but says it can't connect to the printer.  Any suggestions gratefully received

I suggest that you try creating a unique SSID for the 2.4Ghz channel of the router and only allowing the printer to connect to that. Often printers that are not fully compatible with newer routers will show as connected but not be able to fully communicate.
