How can I reconnect my printer to wifi after my new fiber optic internet installation please? Thanks:) I already did a wizard set up on the printer and my new wifi name is there. I went through the setup but it still will not connect. Any help is much appreciated.

Hi @Michelle234,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you are unable to connect your printer to your network after installing new fiber optic internet, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can take to resolve the issue.

  • Make sure your printer is connected to the same network as your computer or mobile device. If your printer has a display screen, navigate to the network settings and verify that it is connected to the same network as your other devices. If it doesn't have a display screen, check the printer manual for instructions on how to check the network connection.
  • Check your network settings on your computer or mobile device. Make sure your device is also connected to the same network and that it has a valid IP address. You can usually check your network settings by going to the Network and Sharing Center on a Windows computer or by navigating to the Wi-Fi settings on a mobile device.
  • Restart your printer and computer or mobile device. Sometimes simply restarting your devices can fix connectivity issues.
  • Check your router settings. Make sure your router is configured correctly and that your printer is allowed to connect to your network. Refer to your router manual for instructions on how to access and configure the settings.
  • Disable any firewall or antivirus software that may be blocking the connection. Sometimes security software can block printer connections.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
