Hi @owsfab

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

It seems like your HP OfficeJet Pro 9010 is not detecting or activating its wireless functionality.

Here are some steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

1. Check Wireless Settings on the Printer:

  • On the printer's control panel, navigate to Setup > Network Setup > Wireless Settings.
  • Ensure that Wireless is turned on. If it's off, enable it and check if the wireless light activates.

2. Restore Network Defaults:

  • On the printer's control panel, go to Setup > Network Setup > Restore Network Settings.
  • Confirm the reset and try reconnecting the printer to your wireless network.

3. Run Wireless Setup Wizard:

  • On the printer's control panel, navigate to Setup > Network Setup > Wireless Setup Wizard.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.

4. Update Printer Firmware:

  • Visit the HP Support page for your printer model and download the latest firmware updates.
  • Firmware updates can resolve bugs and improve wireless functionality.

5. Check Router Settings:

  • Ensure that your router's 2.4 GHz band is enabled, as many printers do not support 5 GHz networks.
  • Verify that the router is not blocking the printer's MAC address.
