HP Team,
I am struggling to get my printer connected to my WiFi network. Here are the details:
1. M148fdw
2. Starlink WiFi
3. Mac OS Sonoma 14.2.1
There is no Wireless Wizard available on my menu. Further, I don't have a WPS button on my modem.
How an I connect?

Hello Troy,
Let's try connecting your HP LaserJet Pro MFP M148fdw to the network step by step:
- On the printer's control panel, navigate to the 'Network' or 'Wireless' settings menu.
- Look for an option like 'Wireless Setup Wizard' or 'Network Setup.' This wizard should guide you through the process of finding and selecting your new Wi-Fi network.
- When your network appears on the list, select it, then enter your new Wi-Fi password ***** prompted

Hello Troy,
The model entered has an internal network setup wizard according to its manual (page 55), which is where I think the confusion on my end is. Assuming you can't find the setting or that it doesn't actual exist, you will need to add the printer to the network using the HP Smart application.
I will walk you through the steps to add a printer through the HP Smart desktop application, which can also be found here.
1. Head on over to the Mac App Store and download the HP Smart for Desktop application.
2. Then open the HP Smart App and choose 'Set Up a New Printer' near the top.
3. Next choose "get started" to set up a new printer.
4. The App will try to find your printer on the next screen. Assuming the device isn't on the network yet, you will need to select "Printer Not Listed" at the bottom of the application.
5. Choose your connection type, in this case Wi-Fi.
6. Next you should see the application searching for your printer. Select the printer desired and finish the steps prompted.
Once the setup process has been completed your printer should now be online. If not, please reply to this thread.
