Common problems for Connectivity Issues
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about Printer Wi-Fi, Connectivity Issues and Offline Status. Check out this link: HP printer is offline or unavailable.

HO OfficeJet 3830

  1. HP Print and Scan Doctor 5.5.2 complete run shows no errors and works correctly for all normal printing and scanning.

2. HP Smart/Printer Settings/Settings/Advanced Settings/Home shows all options with 'This feature has been locked by the administrator'. If I click on any options Windows Security says  'The server xxx.xxx.x.x is asking for your name and password'.

 

3. I am the only user and am the administrator and have no idea what user/password it is asking for. Why is it doing this with Windows 10 Home 20H2 build 19042.685 Inspiron 3275 AIO AMD A9-9425 Radeon E5?

The only option left is to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer. 

 

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device. 

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset, and re-initialize the printer.
