Hi, I'm unable to print via wireless after a network change.
For security reasons the name and password of our network was changed. The printer seemed to instantly have problems with this - when I went into the WiFi Setup Wizard, no matter how many times I pressed "refresh", it showed the OLD list of available SSIDs, including SSIDs that no other device in the area could see any more. It just wasn't refreshing properly.
I was able to add the correct details manually.
Literally everything works except communication between my devices and the printer over LAN. The printer can connect to the internet, recieve updates, print internal test pages, print via email, and so on. I can ping the printer and access the embedded web server via HTTP and HTTPS. HP Smart claims that the printer is online and ready.
I can also scan successfully, although I couldn't until I reinstalled HP Smart (see below).
The network status is all normal.
Attempting to print causes a frustratingly vague error in my print queue. It just says "Error - Printing" under status. Delightfully opaque.
My Android device is still able to print via wireless normally, suggesting the issue could be with my Windows 10 machine, however please note that the printing is not working on more than one Windows device.
I have tried:
* Cancelling print queue and attempting to print again
* Reverting printer to factory defaults
* Uninstalling HP Smart, removing printer, removing printer driver, deleting all files in %temp%, attempting to delete local app files for HP (there weren't any), then restarting PC, then reinstalling HP Smart (because apparently this is the only way to reinstall my printer drivers?!?!?!?!)
* Using HP Print and Scan Doctor 5.5.2
(It did not print)
...And now I call for aid.

Hi,
Try following below specific version of the HP Print and Scan Doctor Utility by selecting your printer, this is a different version than the one you previously used (Version 5.0.7):
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/printers/hppsdr/patches/HPPSdr.exe
Be sure to restart your PC and allow the utility to complete the process, then check for any difference.
Try printing and check for any change, if the same remains try printing using the newly added print queue copy (Copy1) and check for any difference.

After whatever this version of the utility did, followed by a restart, the printer is instantly fully working again!!!!!
Firstly, thank you so so much.
Secondly, do you have any further insight for me in terms of what the issue was that needed fixing? It would be useful in order to know what to avoid in the future.
Thanks again for your help.
