Common problems for Connectivity Issues
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about Printer Wi-Fi, Connectivity Issues and Offline Status. Check out this link: HP printer is offline or unavailable.
HP Recommended

The 8028e printer screen continually shows "Verifying" and is otherwise unresponsive. I have turned it off, and unplugged it. Next I held the power switch down for thirty seconds while I plugged it back in. Once it was plugged in, I turned it back on. It went back into "Verifying" mode. It does this in Wireless mode or with an Ethernet connection.

It is currently connected to the router via Ethernet cable. The router sees it, and it has an IP address.

If I put the IP address in the browser I get:

"Welcome to nginx!

If you see this page, the nginx web server is successfully installed and working. Further configuration is required.

For online documentation and support please refer to (edited)
Commercial support is available at (edited)

Thank you for using nginx."

I have HP Smart software installed, and every printer search it does comes back negative.

I am kinda unnerved by the "nginx" message coming back on the printer's IP address.

Any ideas? Suggestions?

Thanks.
