I have two problems. I bought a used Officejet 100 printer on eBay. I am a Mac user. When I try to download the easystart app it says it's a pdf file and doesn't open. Also, when I try connecting it through Bluetooth it asks for a code. I looked on the back and don't see anything related to this. Is there a way around this code?

Hi @malibupat,
I'd like to help!
I understand you are unable to connect to the printer and install the drivers.
To assist better- Could you share an image of the screen requesting the code?
Printers with built-in Bluetooth
Some HP printers have a built-in Bluetooth radio that supports pairing with a computer, mobile phone, or tablet to enable wireless printing.
-
Turn on the Bluetooth radio on the printer. Depending on the model, press the Bluetooth button
, or navigate to the Setup
or Network menu to access Bluetooth settings.
-
Open the Bluetooth settings on the computer or mobile device, and then confirm the feature is turned on.
-
Select your printer from the list of found devices, or follow any steps to add the printer as a new device.
-
Open the item you want to print, open the Print menu, and then select your printer to print.
You may download the drivers, from here-Software and drivers for HP Officejet 100 Mobile Printer
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
