Could anyone advise me on how to connect Officejet 5260 to wifi?

- In Wireless setup wizard, the printer finds the wifi. However, there is no password entry as the wifi is password protected.

-  Try to use the hotspot from my mobile phone, the printer finds my hotspot and allows me to enter the password this time. however, the printer cannot connect to my hotspot at the end.

- Try HP smart on my laptop, the laptop finds the printer. However, the connection is failed.

What should I do?

@JacobTTT, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

I understand you are trying to connect the printer to a wireless network. To assist you better,

  • Do you have a personal wireless router?
  • This printer supports WPS/WPA2 encryption method only. Check your router's encryption.

On the printer screen, go to Setup > Network Setup > Restore network settings

Go back to Network > Wireless > Wireless setup wizard and select your network.

If this does not help, you may connect a USB cable and then convert it to wireless. Refer to - Changing from a USB to a Wireless Connection

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
