Wireless printing is not working. Even after disconnecting the printer then using Restore Network Settings, the Wireless icon on the Settings menu is no longer appearing. Instead it's asking for an ethernet connection. Looking at other help postings, this seems to require a factory reset that needs you to send me the details for. Please can you help!

Many thanks for your reply. I’d found a solution online that reset the printer by tapping three times on the bottom left of the screen. Working fine now.

Hello @DERhino, Welcome to the HP Support Community.

We appreciate the opportunity to assist you and are glad we could help work toward a resolution. We hope our support has been valuable.
It sounds like there might be a more complex issue with your HP Officejet Pro 9010 printer's wireless configuration if the wireless settings are not accessible and the printer is requesting an Ethernet connection. Before proceeding to a factory reset, ensure that your printer's firmware is up to date and you have followed basic troubleshooting steps such as verifying your wireless network settings and rebooting all devices in your setup.
Below are the steps you can follow to restore the printer to factory settings to resolve the wireless connection issue:
Restoring Printer to Factory Defaults
From the Control Panel:
- Tap the Menu on the printer's control panel.
- Go to Tools then Maintenance.
- Select Restore Settings, then choose the appropriate reset option:
- Restore Network Settings
- Restore User Settings
- Restore User Data
- Restore All Factory Defaults
Via the Embedded Web Server:
- Access the General tab in the Embedded Web Server.
- Select Restore Default Settings, then choose between Restore Network Settings or Restore All Factory Defaults.
Note:
- Restoring to factory defaults will reset all configured settings, including network configurations, stored jobs, and any personalized printer settings.
- Ensure to note down any custom configurations or network settings before proceeding with the reset.
After performing the factory reset, you can set up your printer on the wireless network again using the Wireless Setup Wizard. Make sure your computer is on the same network and follow the instructions provided by the HP Smart app or printer's control panel.
Take care and have an amazing day!
I'm an HP Employee.
