My OfficeJet Pro 8210 constantly goes into offline mode. I cannot get it to stop. Now it's in offline mode and stuck. I tried the suggestions - unplugging it, restarting it, reset the network, etc.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am ready to get rid of it. So frustrating.

Hi @Blevin48,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Dealing with persistent offline issues with your HP Officejet Pro 8210 can indeed be frustrating. Let's try some troubleshooting steps to see if we can resolve the problem.
- Check Connection: Ensure that the printer is properly connected to your network. You can do this by printing a network configuration report from the printer's control panel or by accessing the printer's web interface.
- Restart Devices: Sometimes, simply restarting your printer, computer, and router can resolve connectivity issues. Turn off your printer, computer, and router, wait for a minute, and then turn them back on.
- Update Firmware: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer. Updating the firmware can sometimes resolve connectivity issues and improve performance. You can usually find firmware updates on the HP support website.
- Reinstall Printer Drivers: Try uninstalling and reinstalling the printer drivers on your computer. Sometimes, corrupted or outdated drivers can cause connectivity problems.
- Check Printer Settings: Make sure that the printer is not set to "offline" mode in its settings. You can usually access printer settings through the printer's control panel or the printer's web interface.
- Use HP Print and Scan Doctor: HP provides a free diagnostic tool called HP Print and Scan Doctor, which can help identify and resolve printing problems. You can download it from the HP support website and run it to see if it can fix the offline issue.
- Reset Network Settings: If all else fails, you can try resetting the printer's network settings to factory defaults. This will erase all network settings and you'll need to set up the connection again from scratch.
By following these steps, you should hopefully be able to resolve the offline issue with your HP Officejet Pro 8210.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
