Family member complained that they could not print to Officejet Pro 8600. Printer seemed to be happily on the WiFi network but from my Windows 10 laptop it showed offline in HP Smart and I got no responses pinging its IP address, so I ran the wireless wizard on the printer itself and reconnected it to the WiFi. It now showed online and was pingable at its expected IP. I can print to it from my computer no problem. However, none of the other devices on the same WiFi network seem to be able to detect the printer, even when logged in with the same HP Smart account. I'm supposed to get paid to do IT, I sure don't want to deal with this for free on my weekend. What's with this thing?
