Hi @Grizz69,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand your printer has stopped printing emails from your iPhone 12. Let’s go step by step to troubleshoot and fix this issue:

Check the connection between iPhone and printer

Make sure your iPhone and printer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

If your Wi-Fi changed recently, reconnect both devices to the same network.

Restart devices

Power off the printer and unplug it for 30–60 seconds.

Restart your iPhone.

Power the printer back on and try printing again.

Check AirPrint availability

HP printers use AirPrint to print from iPhones.

Open Safari or Mail and tap the Share → Print option.

See if your HP printer appears.

If it doesn’t, the iPhone may not detect the printer.

Update iOS and printer firmware

On iPhone: Settings → General → Software Update

On printer: Use HP Smart app → Printer Settings → Check for Firmware Update

Outdated firmware can prevent AirPrint from working.

Check print queue

Tap App Switcher → open Printer Queue (if visible) and cancel any stuck jobs.

Sometimes a stalled job prevents new prints from starting.

Try printing a different type of document

Test printing a photo or PDF to confirm if the issue is only with emails.

If other documents print, the problem may be email formatting or app-specific.

Re-add the printer in HP Smart

Open HP Smart app → Add Printer → Follow prompts.

This refreshes the connection between your iPhone and printer.

Network troubleshooting

Ensure the Wi-Fi signal is strong near the printer.

If using a dual-band router, confirm both devices are on the same 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz band (AirPrint works best on 2.4 GHz on some older HP models).

I hope this helps.
