@KKEDGE, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

If your HP Smart Tank 7301 prints the test page but not other documents after switching internet providers, follow these steps to resolve the issue:

1. Verify Printer Connectivity:

  • Ensure your printer is connected to the new Wi-Fi network. Print a network configuration page to check the connectivity status.
  • On the printer control panel, go to Settings > Network Setup > Print Network Configuration.

2. Reconfigure Wi-Fi Settings:

  • If the printer is not connected to the correct Wi-Fi network, reconfigure the Wi-Fi settings:
    • Use the HP Smart app to reconnect your printer to the Wi-Fi network.
    • Open the HP Smart app on your smartphone or computer.
    • Select Printer Setup, follow the on-screen instructions to connect the printer to the new Wi-Fi network.

3. Update Printer IP Address:

  • The change in the network could have altered the printer’s IP address. Ensure your computer is using the correct printer IP address.
  • Update the printer driver on your computer to reflect the new IP address:
    • Go to Devices and Printers in the Control Panel.
    • Right-click the HP Smart Tank 7301 printer and select Properties.
    • Update the IP address in the Ports tab.

4. Restart Printer and Router:

  • Turn off your printer and router.
  • Wait for 60 seconds before turning them back on.
  • This can refresh the network connection and settings.

5. Reinstall Printer Drivers:

  • Uninstall and reinstall the printer drivers to ensure the settings are correctly configured for the new network:
    • Go to Devices and Printers in the Control Panel.
    • Right-click your printer and select Remove Device.
    • Visit the HP Support website to download the latest drivers and reinstall them.

6. Ensure Proper Configuration in Printing Application:

  • Ensure the application or software you are printing from is set to use the correct printer.
  • Confirm the printer is selected in the print dialog box.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
