Hi @Anna338,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you're trying to connect your HP printer to your Wi-Fi network and can't remember the Wi-Fi password, you can retrieve the password using a few different methods.

Check Your Router:

  • Look at the sticker on your router for the default Wi-Fi password. It is often labeled as "WPA Key" or "Password".

Use a Connected Device:

  • On Windows:
    1. Go to the Control Panel > Network and Sharing Center.
    2. Click on your Wi-Fi network name.
    3. Select "Wireless Properties."
    4. Go to the "Security" tab and check "Show characters" to view your password.
  • On Mac:
    1. Open the Keychain Access application (found in Applications > Utilities).
    2. Find your Wi-Fi network name in the list.
    3. Double-click on it and check "Show password."
    4. Enter your Mac's administrator password to view the Wi-Fi password.

Reset Wi-Fi Password:

  • If you can't retrieve the password, you can reset the Wi-Fi password on your router through the router's web interface. You will need to log in using the router's default credentials (usually found on the router or in the manual).

Printer Network Configuration Report:

  • Some HP printers allow you to print a Network Configuration Report, which includes the Wi-Fi Direct password if you are trying to connect via Wi-Fi Direct. Refer to your printer's user manual on how to print this report.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
