@Gracepows, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you've already tried a factory reset, you can follow these steps to reset the WiFi password on your HP printer:

Restore Network Defaults:

  • On the printer's control panel, go to Settings.
  • Look for Network Setup or Wireless Settings.
  • Select Restore Network Defaults. This will reset the network settings, including the WiFi password.

Use HP Smart App:

  • Download and install the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device.
  • Place the printer near your WiFi router.
  • Turn on WiFi on your device and connect to your network.
  • Enable Bluetooth on your device to allow HP Smart to detect the printer during setup.
  • Follow the app instructions to reconnect the printer to your WiFi network.

Manual Reset:

  • Press and hold the Wireless button and the Cancel button on the printer for about 5 seconds until the printer restarts.
  • Wait for the blue light to flash, indicating the printer is ready for setup again.
