Common problems for Connectivity Issues
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about Printer Wi-Fi, Connectivity Issues and Offline Status. Check out this link: HP printer is offline or unavailable.

I recently moved and have new Internet service. However, I am unable to print wirelessly which I was able to before the move. I try to print, it sees my printer but says it's unavailable. I've ran all reports and all are good. What am I missing?

Hi @Snoozie,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I completely understand how frustrating it can be when your trusted HP PhotoSmart D110 printer suddenly stops printing wirelessly after a move, especially when everything else seems to be working fine. Let's walk through this together and get you back to printing smoothly.

When you change your internet service or Wi-Fi router, your printer may still be trying to connect to the old network. Even though your computer sees the printer, it shows as "unavailable" because the printer isn’t actually connected to your new Wi-Fi.

Steps to Reconnect Your HP PhotoSmart D110 to Wi-Fi

1. Restore Network Settings on the Printer

This clears the old Wi-Fi info and puts the printer into setup mode:

  • On the printer’s touchscreen, go to: Setup > Network > Restore Network Defaults
  • Confirm the reset. The wireless light should start blinking.

2. Reconnect Using Wireless Setup Wizard

  • On the printer touchscreen, go to: Setup > Network > Wireless Setup Wizard
  • Select your new Wi-Fi network from the list.
  • Enter your Wi-Fi password carefully.

3. Install or Open the HP Smart App

  • Download the HP Smart app from hp.com or your app store.
  • Open the app and follow the prompts to add your printer.
  • Make sure your computer or phone is on the same Wi-Fi network.

4. Print a Wireless Network Test Report (Optional but Helpful)

  • On the printer, go to: Setup > Network > Print Wireless Network Test
  • This report will show if the printer is successfully connected.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
