Hi @Mimi743,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

The WPS PIN (often called “Wi-Fi Protected Setup PIN”) for HP printers is usually needed when connecting the printer to a wireless network using the PIN method. Here’s how to locate it:

Where to Find the WPS PIN on Your HP Printer

  1. On the Printer Control Panel
    • Tap Wireless or Network Settings.
    • Go to Wi-Fi Protected Setup → PIN.
    • The printer will display an 8-digit WPS PIN on the screen.

  2. Print a Network Configuration Page
    • From the printer menu, select Reports → Network Configuration Page.
    • The WPS PIN may appear under Wi-Fi Protected Setup.

  3. HP Smart App
    • Open HP Smart on your phone or PC.
    • Go to Printer Settings → Advanced Settings → Network Settings.
    • Look for Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) and select PIN.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
