I have always been able to use the "print anywhere" feature through the HP Smart app on my phone. Now, even though I am printing from the same location, the printer always says unavailable. Yet, it seems to be connected to the internet. I do not know why the printer will no longer show up properly in my app and let me print anywhere.

I have the same issue with HP OfficeJet 9010. I was able to use the Print Anywhere function but since a few days ago, this is no longer an option and the printer shows up as "Unavailable" if I'm not on the same network. It prints fine if I'm on the same network but I know I've used Print Anywhere before with the printer and it worked, and now, out of nowhere, it's no longer available.

Hi @Bri371,
Welcome to the HP Support Community
I understand you are facing an issue using the Print Anywhere feature from HP Smart. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.
To assist you better:
- Could you please help me with the iPhone model number and the iOS version on your device?
- Do you get any specific error messages when you try adding it using HP Smart?
While you respond to that, please try the below steps to resolve the issue.
Remove HP Smart App from your phone:
- Touch and hold the app.
- Tap Remove App
.
- Tap Delete App, then tap Delete to confirm.
- Once the app is removed, go ahead and Update the software on iOS
- Restart your phone and then install the HP Smart app ( Reference Document )
- Once the app is installed try to add the printer and try using the print anywhere feature.
If the issue persists, then update the printer firmware and try adding the print on your iOS device again.
- Click here to download and install the latest printer firmware from your product
- Click here to learn different methods of updating printer firmware.

Hi @anand_andy !
Sure, I've always used MacOS 12 and iOS for my mobile phone. I haven't changed the OS so I don't think it's the OS fault that the Print Anywhere function is no longer working. The printer is yes, constantly connected to an active internet connection (via Wi-Fi 5Ghz and 2.4Ghz). I had already tried the steps for deleting the app, reinstalling and re adding the printer but it does not work.
I've done also a hard reset and added the printer as it was new and the HP+ options (Print Anywhere and Securely Monitored) still don't show up. The printer also appears as Unavailable if I am connected to a different network than the printer's.
The more worrying part still is that these HP+ options don't show even when on the same network.
