Print Offline

The HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 keeps going offline.  I work in an area where there is multiple users on the same router.  First time I spoke to HP support we was able to get it back online.  It went offline again and this time HP support said that it is because the router is more than 20'.  On the printer it say that I have excellent signal.  Would a wifi booster help?

I'd like to help!

I am afraid the wifi-booster may not help as it may not be stable. And if the printer stays online, the printer and router should be in the same room not more than 5-10ft away.
