Common problems for Connectivity Issues
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about Printer Wi-Fi, Connectivity Issues and Offline Status. Check out this link: HP printer is offline or unavailable.

I'm trying to use a device/user cert to authenticate my printer using 802.1x to my enterprise-level network.  I have the CA cert and identity cert installed.  I am unable to use either cert for network identity.  I continue to get an error stating that the cert doesn't support the intended usage.  When I go tot he 802.1x authentication section on the EWS, I am able to select eap-tls and enter the necessary information, but I do not see a way to select the CA signed certs for authentication.  I verified the firmware is up-to-date.  I checked the printer itself.

I found the security manager software and it appears that you can load certs onto printers that way, but I can't for the life of me get a trial license to see if it will allow me to force the cert to be used for network authentication.

Anyone have success using device certs on HP printers?  Doesn't seem to matter which model I use.  I've tried an M605 and an M610.
