HP LaserJet M209dw Printer
Microsoft Windows 11

LaserJet M209dw should have support for 1 gbps wired Ethernet according to the specification sheet. With Cat6 cable and gigabit router and also gigabit separate switch, the printer only connects at 100mbps max. The firmware is the latest,  20231016. When connected to the printer setup webserver, the networking  / advance / other setting / Link speed does not list 1000mbps as possible. Only automatic, 10 and 100 half and full. Is there a way to update the JetDirect port to support 1 gbps? It  should according to the spec sheet. My computer and NAS with gigabit support both connect with the same cat6 cable to either the router or the switch at a full 1 gbps. The ASUS router and the D-link switch both confirm that my computer and NAS are at 1gbps, and also that the HP LJ M209dw is only connecting at 100mbps.

Ethernet speed for M209dw is 10/100, not gigabit
