Hi @Silverfox2026,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand that you are experiencing frequent internet connectivity issues with your HP printer can be frustrating. Here are some potential reasons and solutions for why your printer might continually lose its internet connection:

Network Instability:

  • Solution: Ensure that your Wi-Fi network is stable. You can restart your router or move your printer closer to the router to improve the signal strength.

Printer Settings:

  • Solution: Check your printer's network settings to ensure it's correctly configured. You might need to restore the printer's Wi-Fi setup mode and reconnect it to the network.

Firmware Update:

  • Solution: Make sure that your printer's firmware is up to date. Manufacturers frequently release updates that fix bugs and improve performance.

Interference:

  • Solution: Make sure there are no electronic devices between your router and printer that might disrupt the Wi-Fi signal, such as microwaves or cordless phones.

Network Configuration:

  • Solution: Double-check the network configuration. Ensure the printer is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network, especially if there are multiple networks in range.

DHCP Lease Time:

  • Solution: Sometimes, the DHCP lease time might cause devices to lose their IP address. You could try setting a static IP address for the printer through your router’s settings.

Printer’s Wi-Fi Module:

  • Solution: If your printer has a faulty Wi-Fi module, it may intermittently lose connection. Consider contacting HP support for hardware troubleshooting or repair options.

    I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
