HP ENVY 6032 All-In-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Please help -

I am running Windows 10 with HP Envy 6032. It's connection to the internet has been off & on (I can usually get it to reconnect by using the trouble-shooter) but now it says that it is not connected to a network and to contact the person who set up the printer. I had a long conversation with myself (I set it up) and drew a blank!

I have connected it via a USB lead however now I get the error message that the printer has decided to un-enroll itself from instant ink so will not print anything. I am still registered with instant ink and have approx 45 pages of printing left.

The virtual agent says that i can contact the helpline to sort this out but fails to provide a phone number - just a large telephone symbol and their opening hours.

Please help - I'm thinking that Instant ink is definitely not worth the hassle.

@Jewel654321, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

I understand the printer is not connected to the internet. For the Instant Ink service to work, the printer has to be connected to the internet.

You may use the WPS button to connect the printer.

Kindly follow the steps mentioned in this document -  Connecting an HP Printer Using Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS)

  • Make sure the printer and the PC are connected to the same wireless network.
  • If you have a Dual-band router and both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks share the same name/SSID, the printer will not be able to connect to the network. In this case, contact your Internet service provider to assign different names to both networks.

You may also refer to - HP printer setup (Wi-Fi network) and HP printer setup (HP Smart app)

Use the HP Smart app to print.

Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.

Print a Wireless Network Test Results page that lists important network settings such as network status and the printer IP address.

  1. Make sure there is plain white paper in the input tray.
  2. Touch and hold the Information button for 3 seconds.
  3. All the control panel buttons light up.
  4. At the same time, touch the Information and Resume buttons .
  5. A Wireless Network Test Results page prints.

Also, check if the wireless radio is ON/pass.

Keep me posted.
