Hi @FoxyB1,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

When you change your router, your HP printer may lose its network connection and need to be reconnected. Here’s how you can get your printer back online:

Step 1: Reset the Wireless Setup on Your Printer

  1. Make sure your printer is turned on.

  2. Locate the Wireless button on your printer. It might look like an icon of an antenna or signal waves.

  3. For many HP printers, you can press and hold the Wireless button until the wireless light starts blinking. This usually indicates that the printer is in Wireless Setup Mode.

Step 2: Connect Your Printer to the New Network

  1. Open the HP app on your smartphone or computer. If you don’t have it, you can download it from the HP website or your device’s app store.
HP App – For HP Printers, Laptops, and Tech Accessories | HP® Official Site

  2. Ensure your device is connected to the same network you want to connect your printer to.

  3. In the HP app, follow the on-screen instructions to add a new printer. The app should find printers in setup mode and guide you through the connection process.

Step 3: Install or Update Printer Software

  1. Go to the Official HP® Support and enter your printer model.

  2. Download the latest drivers and software for your printer and install them, following the on-screen instructions.

    I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
