My HP LaserJet keeps showing offline. It goes back online if I reset the printer but then after a few hours becomes offline again. I have it installed on multiple computers and it is the same on all of them. I have already tried:

  • Re-installing printer and drivers
  • Resetting printer to factory settings and re-connecting to network
  • Plugging in printer straight to wall outlet
  • Disabling IPv6
  • Using TCP/IP port with SNMP disabled
  • HP Print and Scan Doctor tool
  • Updating all firmware
  • HP Smart troubleshooting tool
  • Static IP address

I feel like I have tried every suggestion I could find on the Internet. Not sure what else to do at this point. It may have coincided with my Windows 11 upgrade but not 100% sure. Thanks in advance!

I see you state that you are using a standard TCP/IP port for the drivers. Have you disabled the WSD Print protocol on the printer itself? Is this a new issue or has it acted like this since new?

Great idea! I did disable it after you suggested but we are still having the same issues unfortunately. Let me know if you have any other recommendations!
