Hi @JohnG1960,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like you've already taken some initial troubleshooting steps, which is great. Let's try a few more things to see if we can resolve the issue.
- Restart the Printer: Sometimes a simple restart can resolve connectivity issues. Turn off your printer, wait for about 30 seconds, and then turn it back on.
- Restart Your Router: Unplug your router from power for about 30 seconds, then plug it back in. Wait for it to fully restart.
- Check Wireless Settings: Make sure that your printer is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network. Double-check the SSID (network name) and password.
- Printer Firmware Update: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your HP Envy 5530 printer. Sometimes, outdated firmware can cause connectivity issues.
- Printer Network Settings: You may need to reset the network settings on your printer and set it up again from scratch. Refer to your printer's manual for instructions on how to do this.
- Firewall/Antivirus Settings: Sometimes, firewall or antivirus settings on your computer can interfere with the printer's connectivity. Temporarily disable any firewall or antivirus software and see if the printer connects.
- Driver Reinstallation: Uninstall the printer driver from your computer and reinstall it. Sometimes, driver issues can prevent the printer from connecting to the network properly.
By going through these steps, hopefully, you'll be able to get your HP Envy 5530 connected to your new broadband network. If
