@dee430, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding "Printer Isn't Available Right Now" on HP OfficeJet 4650!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If you're encountering an error stating that the HP OfficeJet 4650 printer isn't available right now, you can follow these troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue:

Check Printer Connection: Ensure that your printer is connected to the network or directly to your computer. If using a wireless connection, verify the Wi-Fi is working and the printer is connected to it.

Restart Printer and Devices: Turn off your printer, computer, and any network devices (like a router). After a minute, turn everything back on and try printing again.

Update Printer Firmware: Ensure that your printer’s firmware is up to date. You can check for firmware updates on the HP website or through the HP Smart app.

Use HP Print and Scan Doctor: Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor, a free tool that can help diagnose and fix printer issues.

Reinstall Printer Drivers: Uninstall the current printer drivers from your computer and then reinstall them. Make sure to download the latest drivers from the HP support website.

Set Printer as Default: Go to your computer's printer settings and set the HP OfficeJet 4650 as the default printer.

Clear Print Queue: Clear any pending print jobs in the print queue as they might cause conflicts.

Check for Error Messages: Inspect the printer's control panel for any error messages or blinking lights and resolve them accordingly.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
