Thank you for bringing this back to our attention! Your concerns matter, and we’re here to give you the support you need. Let’s dive right in and get your issue sorted so your printer’s back to working perfectly!
Here’s how we can fix it:
Restart Your Device

Restart the Printer:
- Turn off the printer, unplug it, and wait for 30 seconds.
- Plug it back in, turn it on, and wait for it to initialize.

Restart Your Wi-Fi Router:
- Turn off your router, wait 60 seconds, and power it back on.

Restart Your PC:
- Restart your Windows 10 PC to refresh its connection.
Reconnect the Printer to Wi-Fi
Since the printer is in Wireless Setup Mode, let’s reconnect it to your Wi-Fi network:

Using HP Smart App:
- Open the HP Smart app on your Windows 10 PC.
- Click the + Add Printer option.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to reconnect your printer to your Wi-Fi network.
- If prompted, select your network and enter the Wi-Fi password.

Without HP Smart App (Using WPS):
- Press the WPS button on your router (usually a physical button).
- Within 2 minutes, press and hold the Wireless button on the printer until the light starts blinking faster.
- Wait for the printer to connect. Once connected, the Wi-Fi icon on the printer should stop flashing and remain solid blue.
Check Printer Status in Windows 10
- Open Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners.
- Locate your HP Envy 6022e in the list.
- Right-click and ensure the option Set as Default Printer is selected.
- If it still says “Offline,” click on it and select Use Printer Online.
Test the Printer
- Open a document or image and click Print.
- Ensure the HP Envy 6022e is selected as the printer.

Thanks for response.
I have the HPSmart app. As suggested in the app I clicked on "add another printer" and a box came up containing info. on my HPEnvy 6022e printer and stating "off-line". I clicked on it and got a box stating "select a different printer". I don't have another printer. I clicked on OK and it took me back to the previous box with the same info. on my HPEnvy 6022e printer. Just going round in circles.
Printer still showing status light as purple colour meaning it is in wireless set up mode and the blue wi-fi icon is going off and on. Doesn't seem to be able to make a connection with the printer. Any other suggestions to fix this?

Hi
Gone into devices/ printers.... HP Envy 6022e is showing twice. First one showing "Default, Offline" the second one shows "driver unavailable". If I right click on "Offline" on the first one nothing happens. Right click doesn't work. I have ignored the second one.
