IPad Air is now requesting username and password in order to print. Did not do this before we moved and I let someone else use the printer (HP ENVY 7640).

@MEW13, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

 

I understand you are trying to print from your iPad. To assist you better, kindly send a picture of the error.

 

Make sure the iPad and the printer are connected to the same wireless network.

 

You may use the HP Smart app or the AirPrint option to print.

Refer to - HP printer setup (Apple AirPrint for iPhone, iPad)
