HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I have a HP 9015e printer that I have been using on another HP computer. Works fine. Installed and older HP in den (Win10). Using WiFi for both. Ran printer test and it prints the test page OK. Try to print anything else and it will not show a "preview page", just sits there twirling. Loaded new driver and reset both computer and printer.  Same issue. Thoughts?

Hi @ChevelleSS72

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

I understand that the HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e prints the printer test page successfully, but when attempting to print a document, the print preview continues to load and does not display the document. Since the printer works correctly with another computer and the test page prints successfully, the issue appears to be isolated to the Windows 10 computer rather than the printer hardware or Wi-Fi connection. I would request you to please follow the steps:

Check the printer settings

  • Open the document and select File > Print.
  • Select the HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e.
  • Open Printer Properties or Preferences.
  • Verify that the paper size matches the document (A4 or Letter).
  • Check the orientation, scaling, and layout settings.
  • Apply the changes and try printing again.

Restart the Print Spooler

  • Press Windows + R.
  • Type services.msc and press Enter.
  • Locate Print Spooler.
  • Right-click it and select Restart.
  • Try printing again.

Clear any stuck print jobs
If the issue continues:

  • Open Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners.
  • Select the HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e.
  • Open the print queue and cancel any pending documents.
  • Restart the computer and try printing again.

Remove and reinstall the printer

  • Go to Settings → Devices → Printers & scanners.
  • Select the OfficeJet Pro 9015e.
  • Select Remove device.
  • Restart the computer.
  • Reinstall the printer using the appropriate HP software/driver for Windows 10 32-bit.

Test from a simple application

  • Open Notepad.
  • Type a few words.
  • Select File > Print and choose the HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e.
  • Check whether the document prints.

Take care and have an amazing day!
